I asked circus practitioner "orginators" to choreograph and film a 1 minute sequence and then "translate" that sequence into a series of vocal sounds. The audio files were then shared with other circus practitioners who were asked to "reverse translate" the audio into a 1 minute sequence of their own in any circus discipline.
Here you can find two versions of each video, one in which the reverse translations appear one at a time, ending with the "original" and the other where they all play at the same time on a split screen. You can explore them in any order that you like.
